Acquisition Information

You might have heard the exciting news: Collegiate Peaks Bank became part of Glacier Bank on February 1, 2018. We are operating as Collegiate Peaks Bank, Division of Glacier Bank. That’s why we’re writing to you today – to let you know about the merger and provide some important information on what it means to you, our valued customer.

First, a little about Glacier Bank; it’s one of the most respected and admired regional banks in the United States. Based in Montana, it operates as 15 divisions with 150 banking facilities, and provides commercial banking services in 91 communities in the Rockies and beyond, including Montana, Idaho, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Colorado, and Arizona.

Customers can expect our day to day operations to be “business as usual”, although we will operate under the business name of Collegiate Peaks Bank, Division of Glacier Bank. Our name may change, but you will see no change in the individuals who greet you and help you with your banking needs on a daily basis. Our employees are talented, dedicated, and committed to giving you the best customer service possible. This is as important to the Glacier Family of Banks as it is to Collegiate Peaks Bank. Together, we’re bigger and better.

In August, we will be sending you an informational packet about upgrades to many of our systems and products to those used by Glacier Bank. These upgrades will take place in September. You’ll enjoy new money- and time- saving products. We’ll have a much larger lending capacity to help your business or enterprise. Our mobile banking application will be one of the best in the industry making your banking relationship with us an ease to manage anytime and anywhere.

We are enclosing several notices required by law, including information on FDIC deposit insurance and a Privacy Notice for Glacier Bank. Rest assured, at this time, your account terms will remain unchanged and no action on your part is necessary. You might have some questions. If so, please call or visit your local Collegiate Peaks Bank branch office.

We personally thank you for your business and your trust. Joining the Glacier Family of Banks is a win-win situation for Collegiate Peaks Bank customers and communities alike. We express our heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to serve your financial needs and look forward to enhancing your banking relationship with us in the future.
