Equifax Data Breach

As you may have heard, recently Equifax, one of the three major credit reporting agencies in the U.S., experienced a massive breach. Some estimate that half the population of the U.S. may have had personal information such as Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, credit card numbers, and other sensitive information compromised.

What should you do? We believe the Federal Trade Commission’s website contains the best advice and tools. Please visit their website and read about the breach and what you can do to protect your information from being misused. The link below will take you to the FTC’s page on this breach. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (719)-395-2472 or at your banking location directly if you have questions!
